OM System OM-1 Mark II - Body arrives as a rugged, weather-sealed mirrorless body designed for demanding photographers and hybrid shooters who need speed, reliability and professional features.

At the heart of the OM-1 Mark II is a 4/3" Live MOS sensor with approximately 20.4 effective megapixels (22.9 total MP) and a native 4:3 aspect ratio, delivering maximum still resolution up to 5184 x 3888 pixels. The camera pairs this sensor with the TruePic X processor to produce clean high-ISO results and wide dynamic range for both JPEG and Raw captures.

The OM-1 Mark II features a powerful in-body image stabiliser built into the camera body, helping to steady handheld shots and extend usable shutter speeds. Autofocus performance is advanced with 1053 AF points, multiple AF modes (Continuous, Single, Tracking, Contrast-detect) and subject detection for birds, aircraft, people, pets and vehicles to keep fast-moving subjects sharp.

For exposure control and creative shooting the camera offers full manual and priority modes, a fast electronic shutter up to 1/8000 s, long exposures to 60 s, and a wide ISO range 80–102400. Multiple metering modes and AE/AF lock, plus anti-flicker shooting, ensure consistent results in challenging light.

Video creators will appreciate 4K Ultra HD capture up to 4096 x 2160 and a variety of frame rates, plus high-speed Full HD modes to 240 fps for slow-motion. The OM-1 Mark II records AVC/H.264 and HEVC/H.265 codecs with colour sampling options up to 10-bit 4:2:2, and it provides built-in stereo microphones and headphone output for monitoring.

The body is built for harsh conditions with magnesium construction, IP53 dust/splash protection and freezeproof operation to -10 °C. Connectivity includes USB-C (3.2 Gen 1) with USB Power Delivery charging, micro-HDMI, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE and Wi‑Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac). A 3" vari-angle touchscreen LCD (1,620,000 dots) and a 1.65x OLED electronic viewfinder round out the handling features.
